Be A Deliberate Scholar

    Learning is always a two way process...knowledge/information must be made available...and there must be someone to receive it. As you sit in each class, at your desk, what are you receptive to? The attention of your friends? The food in your backpack that you're trying to figure out how to sneak and eat? The cell phone that you can't seem to keep your eyes off of?  The music piping through your headphones (that you THINK the teacher doesn't see in your ears) that you are not supposed to be wearing in class?
     Or...are you deliberately learning? Are you making a real effort to receive the information that your teachers are making available during each class session? The deliberate scholar arrives to each class mentally receptive and prepared to receive information...TO LEARN. Notetaking instruments are out and ready, your mind is clear of other distractions and focused on the information that is already in your notes...and new information that is to come. Receptive students become deliberate scholars. Deliberate scholars find success within their reach...and in their future.


                              BE A DELIBERATE SCHOLAR!!!  8)
